Despite gasoline prices increasing in most other states, Hawaii’s average price for regular gasoline dipped slightly compared to a week ago, according to the AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch. The Hawaii state average for regular unleaded is $4.32 per gallon, which is a penny less than last week, four cents less than last month and two cents less than on this day last year.
Honolulu’s average price dipped one cent after seven to $4.23 a gallon for regular unleaded – also a penny less than last month and seven cents less from a year ago. In Hilo, the average gas price is $4.29 per gallon, three cents more than last week, seven cents less than last month and two cents less than this time a year ago. Wailuku’s average is $4.53 a gallon, a penny less than last week four cents below last month and 17 cents more than the price last year.
