Gas prices across the state are remaining steady in most cities, according to the AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch. The statewide average price for regular unleaded is $4.66, two cents lower than last week. The national average gas price is $3.45, which is three cents lower than last week.
In Honolulu, today’s average price for regular unleaded is $4.52, one cent higher than last week and ten cents lower than last year. The Hilo average gas price is $4.86, two cent lower than last week and 12 cents lower than a year ago.
In Kahului, the average price of $4.72 is three cents higher than last week and fourteen cents lower than a year ago. Lihue’s average regular price is $5.25, the same as last week and one cent lower than a year ago.
